To Book The Black Irish Band

Hailing from the historic Gold Rush Country of America, the five member Black Irish Band 
of twenty years, have a musical style that is as timeless as the rugged landscape of the west, 
a tribute to the people whose lives were spent building the world we now take for granted. 
The band has a large compliment of traditional maritime and railroad music, as well as ethnic 
tunes in their repertoire. They excel at Irish & Scottish, Italian, and American folk music 
with an assortment of original songs and traditional western ballads. 
The bands musical style captures the spirit of the immigrants of this land, the men and women 
who tamed the Wild West.

Over the years the band has performed for many large performing arts centers and festivals including the Kennedy Center, 
Smithsonian Folklife, Singapore World Music Festival, and the California State Railroad museum.  To date, the band has 
performed for over 75 weddings and special retirement parties.  The band has performed on sailing ships, steam train excursions, 
aircraft in flight, and in people's backyards.   

The band has a large selection of songs and styles that include, Americana folk, Bluegrass, 60s Rock & Roll, Country, Jazz, 
Swing, Love songs, Italian, and lots of Celtic Music.  The band can also perform special requests for weddings.
